FrontPage 2002 help please: Link Bar doesn't work in Frames pages

S

Simon Parker

I'm relatively new to FrontPage and have just rebuilt my site based on
Frames pages rather than simple tables. ( I haven't published it yet but in
preview in Frontpage and in browser the Link Bar (From the standard MSFP Web
Components) doesn't work now. ( In normal view it says "[Add this page to
the Navigation view to display hyperlinks here]" and in Preview it is just
blank)

FYI: I have added all the pages to the navigation view. I have 5 frames
per page. 3 make up the page header and title while I then have a frame on
the left with the Link Bar and the main frame to its right with the page
body in it

Any ideas??

FP Navigation components are not meant to be used with Frames, as you have
to not way to specific frame target value of the links in the navigation
component.
