Frontpage 2000 won't work

FrontPage problem, please help
I have a new computer and have just installed MS FrontPage while installing
MS Office 2000. When I try to open the program, it opens up normally then a
dialog box opens saying that FP has encountered a problem and must close. I
have tired uninstalling Office and then reinstalling it but it hasn't
helped. I use this program all the time so I am very upset. Does anyone have
any insight as to how to fix it. I went to MS to look for updates and
downloaded the service pack 1 for office. Thanks for any help you can give
me.

In Control Panel Add remove Programs for FP run a Repair or Reinstall
