Front Page Graphics

I am trying to figure a way of setting up front page to open pictures from
thumbnail view in a new browser window or pop up. Currently my pictures are
opening in the same browser window there fore requiring visitors to use the
browswer back button. Currently I am losing visitors because when they close
the picture they also exit from the complete web site.
hope this question makes sense. I have been delighted with front page, since
beginning the creation of my web site a week ago and hope that I can continue
using it, however if one of its attributes is no ability to offer my visitors
a failsafe method of closing pictures without exiting the web site I will
have to change. Can anyone advise another good web creation program for a
novice?

Right click a thumbnail with a link.
Select Hyperlink Properties.
Click the Target Frame button.
Select New Window from the drop down list
Click OK.

Will need to be done for each thumbnail image.
