Front page error: "server error: Error 2 opening registry key..."

I get this message when trying to open a previously used site
I'm using FP 2003

The ... says something about a registry key at
SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Shared Tools/Web Server Extensions/Ports/Port 80

On MY machine, there is NO /Web server Extensions/...

The site is hosted at Web.Com

I've used this computer and this program and this host for over 2 years
without this error. Any Suggestiosn?

Are you opening the site at web.com? If so, the registry error is on the
server at web.com and you should ask your host for help.

"Ronx" hit it on the head.

I wrote web.com and they replied:

"We were able to successfully install Frontpage Server Extensions on your
account. Your Frontpage access should be working now without any errors."

They didn't bother to say why, in the past week or so, they had removed the
FP server extensions.

But, anyway, all is working now.
