Front Page 2003 and Educational Ediion of Office 2003

A buddy of mine (works for a non-profit organization) asked me this , and i
don;t know the answer.

He has a educational edition of Office 2003 and recently purchased Front
Page 2003. He cannot load FP2003 beccause a message says that it cannot find
a copy of Office. He assures me he does have office on the PC.

Is this a FP2003/Office20003 issue or a FP2003/Educational edition issue, or
has he just done something terribly wrong somewhere?

Hi Tom,

Did he get a "Full" version of FrontPage 2003 OR an "Upgrade"?
If he has the "Upgrade" it is looking for a previously installed version of
FrontPage. Having Office 2003 is not a pre-qualifier for the FrontPage
"Upgrade" version.

If he has a previous version of FrontPage all he needs to do is (when that
message comes up) is insert the older version in the CD drive and then point
the window to look at the CD.

If it is the Full version it should work...

Don, I do not know, I am leaving a message for him now. I would hope that he
boughtthe "full", but I do not know for sure. I will post back when I know
something.
