front mount USB 2.0

hello everyone,

I'm not having any luck finding an adequate solution to what I think
is probably a fairly common problem:

I'd like to outfit a non-USB 2.0 computer with a PCI card that provides
USB 2.0 ports but that also includes a front panel mount.

The closest front panel I've been able to find is one that has USB, 1394,
sound, PS2 etc all on the panel, and even then, the machine already has
to have USB2 capability. Is that the closest I'm going to get?

I really just want a simple panel I can mount in a spare 3.5 or 5.25 bay
that has a couple of USB slots. Are there any PCI cards out there that
come with the necessary hardware to move the show frontside? I'm guessing
there isn't. In any case, I'd really like to hear any recommendations that
you all might have (cards to stay away from, ones that are really great etc.)

Look for a PCI card that has at least one internal USB 2.0 header. It's
the internal header that you'll connect to whatever faceplate you decide
to buy for the front of the PC (a simple 2 port USB faceplate or a more
expensive USB hub faceplate with firewire and audio and such).
