from evaluation copy to full product

is there a way to pass from an evaluation copy of xp pro to a full product
without reinstalling xp?

Perhaps a repair installation (with your full copy) or just entering the
full version's product key?

I have sp3 installed should i remove it, being the cd sp2 only and then
reapply it, or will it work anyway?

I have not ever personally used the trial versions of the operating
systems... Your service pack level should have no bearing on the product
key, however.
