"friend" customized my xp

Now the computer takes forever to access windows. At
least 10 mins. between password entry and desktop.
Almost every program I open becomes unresponsive after 30
secs.. Task manager cannot end task. have to shut down to
clear screen. Anybody got a clue???

Can you do a System Restore to a day before your "friend" "helped" you? I hope
it's not too late.

If it is not too long since the friend got at it; go to
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore
Take Restore to earlier date, and select a point made the day before he
came round
