vista altogether nd the same ting happened so i thought id jus leave it nd
see wot happened, bout 30mins later it started running nd eventually it got
me into windows. But its stil so slow havent done n e ting it doesnt crash,
can stil move the mouse but after a min it stops for about 20 nd then a min

My friend sed its cos vista indexes all the files for its search, but surely

Do the following to solve all your problems.

Go into the bathroom.
Fill the tub
Power up the PC
Get in the tub
Grab the PC

Enjoy the rest of your day

yes vista spends the first few hours/days indexing the computer to make searches faster.
and yes also it is not supposed to make the computer dog slow.
after the install was done did you cleanup the computer and defrag it.
its possible you need to update some drivers for the computer, video is one that is probably out of date.

hi, thanks

i got fed up of vista so i installed XP....everything was working well on xp
and i thought i might as well instal vista beacause it should work. i just
installed vista business but everytime it loads up or begins to i get the
blue screen and a system restart. i am trying to fix it now...any
sugguestions?

i think before there was a problem because i installed vista on top of vista
and thats why it was so slow. But i formated my hd drive then installed XP,
but i dont know what its doin now. But thanks. I am running startup repair at
the moment to see if it works
