Frequent Shut Downs

I can't figure out the source of this problem, but my Windows Mail frequent
shuts down and restarts as a result of downloading messages.
The first indication I receive is a "Runtime Error" then it goes into an
auto/self diagnostic mode "Searching for a fix" and finally shuts down with a
"Needs to close" message.
Anyone else having this problem or had this problem?

Windows Mail often behaves erratically when interfered with by
some antivirus programs. Windows Mail is not compatible with
most McAfee and Norton security programs. Those will need to
be uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
