Can someone recommend a freeware FTP program...?
I'm using Filezilla, this suits the purpose, but lacks in several
simple usability areas.

Thanks.

What areas exactly. It's one of the better rated Open-Source or Freeware
ones out there.
However - describing your needs should bring about other possibilities..

well it's really simple things.
it doesn't seem to allow drag and drop from windows explorer properly.
this is the biggest gripe.

one of the other gripes is that if the setting you set for overwriting
or not overwriting files stays permanent, or you have to do it file by
file.
this is annoying. other programs let you set the setting only for one
particular transfer load at a time.
(does any of that make sense!?)

if the above two probelsm weren't there...
then i would no complaints.

If Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened
rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic
music.
