ALL FTP Software not connecting!!!!!!

I recently uninstalled Norton after I purchased an upgrade (IS 2007) and had
notihing but problems, and now I cannot use any FTP type applications.

I can no longer connect to using any FTP type applications (FrontPage,
DreamWeaver, FileZilla, CRT...), including Windows Internet Explorer.
This applies when I enable OR disable Windows Firewall.

I'll never use another Symatec Product ever again....
I'm open to ideas on solving this one... it's driving me nuts!

I just tried the FTP type apps in safe mode and They DO work...
Can anyone help?

Some firewall or anti-spyware program is blocking downloads. They
aren't started in Safe Mode..
