Freeform in 2007 PP

I am attempting to use freeform or scribble lines in Power Point 2007. I
have used them successfully in 2003. However, whenever I select freeform or
scribble and click on drawing I get a straight line. I must be doing
something wrong! Anybody have any suggestions?

Jft,
I seem to recall that there is a bug in PPT 2007 causing this.
Don't know if it has been cured in the latest update.
