freecell hangs up

don't know what's happened but my freecell just hangs up. The title bar works ok (can select new game, whatever) but ifyou move the cursor to the play area, all I get is the hour glass. If I look at my statistics is has that I have lost more games than exist (eg. 51000). It lets me clear it, but next time I open free cell it hangs again. I have deleted and reinstalled the accessories and the rest of the games (solitaire, minesweep) work ok.
Any help?

Did you ever find out how to fix this problem? I have the exact same problem and I have tried everything I can think of to fix it but nothing works. If you or anyone else can help me fix this it would be great
