It sounds like all you need to do is create new shortcuts.
For many icons you can obtain a context menu by right clicking on the
icon with the mouse.
Hold down the Windows key while pressing "e" (or click "explore" on the
"My Computer" icon's context menu)
Use the left pane to navigate to the folder containing the application's
executable file. On many systems spider.exe and freecell.exe would be in
C:\Windows\System32.
Click "Create Shortcut" on the executable's context menu.
Click twice on the icon's label (the text "name") if you want to change
it (Example: "shortcut to spider.exe" to "Spider Solitaire")
You can drag the new shortcut to whatever location you find convenient
(Start button, Quick Launch tool bar, desktop etc). Drag with the right
button if you want an opportunity to copy the shortcut.
