Where is it? I bought a new Acer Vista ready notebook with a guaranteed
free upgrade when Vista came out. I'm still waiting! Was it all a lie?
Do I need Joe Bornstien? I mean business.

When you bought said notebook - you should have gotten paperwork with it.
In that paperwork was likely a coupon you could send into Acer who would be
the one to provide you with said copy of Vista.

In other words - RTFM. ;-)

What you probably need to do is check the wording of the guarantee. That
will probably tell you who it is you actually need to ask for the Vista
media.

Whoever that is, they probably aren't reading this group.

Ask Acer. They'd have provided you the means of obtaining the free
upgrade.
