Can you hazard a guess as to how many PC users HAVE problems
just sitting down in front of one and turning one on?

You wish
Perhaps you have. And was it sold as a tool specifically to do those
things? Nope, and pretty sure the company wouldn't dream of
advertising as such, simply because they can't say that would happen.
Unfortunately the reg-clean purveyors don't have any such scruples.
But then they are only selling wishfull thinking.

Well, at least you're showing a different kind of ignorance than most.
You're wrong of course.

But, can you hazard a guess as to how many PC users HAVE had problems
with that trash? You'll be amazed.

Yes, I can actually; I have some estimates in fact. I know for a fact
that you don't have any such information, parrot. People who have
trouble with reg cleaners also have trouble turning on their PC most of
the time. Very few people have problems with them. Cite some numbers
if you have them.

Don't you read these newsgroup posts? Or do you only post?

Aren't you aware the vast majority of computer users are novices? It is
unfortunate but
our educational system is changing that.

I don't have them BUT, I have had experience with them and also READ these
newsgroups.
You apparently don't comprehend what you read IF indeed you read.

That is showing intelligence not ignorance. It is you who is showing your
ignorance by
supporting registry cleaners particularly since the vast majority of users
are novices.
You're the type, whether you realize it or not, that would let 8 year old
kids play
with a chain saw.
