Yes, thanks, it is different, and very detailed. Probably better for
street level detail.

In encarta there are different types of maps to choose from, as far as I
can see all choices beginning with AAAA are free to use, so you can look
at climate maps, etc.

Nice to see how much free resources there are on the web.
And it is getting better all the time.

Does anyone know of a downloadable freeware street level map for a Garmin
GPS?
My friend just bought an Etrex Legend and doesn't want to pay the $100 for
the street level disc.

It works, with Firefox v.1.0, if you have Javascript installed and enabled.

Interesting that the site defaults to showing a couple of obscure
former UK colonies in North America first.
