free alternative for Microsoft Netmeeting?

Does anyone know of a good freeware alternative for Microsoft Netmeeting?

It should be easy to use; just look in a list for interesting people and
click to make contact.

Netmeeting seems to be a very old program that isn't supported anymore and
gives a
lot of problems with my router/firewall because it wants to use a many
different ports.

I'm looking for a free modern alternative that's more secure and as easy to
use as Netmeeting
and has many users to the chat with.

I'm not looking for something like MSN Messenger, icq or irc. Messenger
doesn't work with
a address-server where you can find people in a simple way. The other
programs are much
to complicated.

Any ideas?
