Framework 3.5 not working

I am running Win 2003 Server with IIS 6.0. I have installed .Net Frameworks
1.1, 2.0 and 3.5. However, if I create a new ASP.Net Web App using Visual
Studio 2008 and specify Framework 3.5 to be used, it does not work. Also,
when i go to the properties of the site through IIS, under ASP.Net Tab, I
only have Frameworks 1.1 and 2.0 in the drop down where you specify which
version is to be used by the app. Framework 3.5 is not listed there at all.
Has anyone experienced anything similar???
