Frame inserted when style is changed

G

Guest

When I change the format of a section of text from one of my styles the
section of text is placed in the Header space with a frame. I am able to
select the frame and remove it but it does become tedious in large documents.
The frame does not appear on all styles just the ones I use most often.
I have tried altering the Normal.dot document to no avail.
I am using Word 2003 on XP Home SP2.

Frame formatting has been saved to the style you are applying. Remove
it via the Modify Style dialog box: Click Format, Frame. Click the
Remove Frame button. Click OK. To modify the attached template, click
the "Add to template" box in the Modify Style dialog box. Click OK.
