FP2k3- News on Release date? & ASP.NET

Wondering if anyone has the word or the inside word as to when FP2003 can be
purchased. On the MS preview site, the FAQ it states that in the 2nd half of
2003, well, we're past the 2nd half almost to the 3/4 mark. (Shouldn't they
have called it FP2004, since we're almost there, LOL)

2nd question, Will the ASP.NET be built into FP and FPSE? Or ASP.NET will
still be separate like it is now. (I hope this question makes sense)

ASP.Net will only be available as part of the .Net Framework since a lot of
it's plumbing is dependent upon other parts of the framework.

Hope this helps,

SUPPORT for ASP.Net is abundant in FrontPage 2003. The Database wizards, for
example, can put together EITHER an ASP or ASP.Net interface for you, and
the ASP.Net wizards are great! No WebBots!

There is IntelliSense support for ASP.NET Server control tags. There is no
IntelliSense for server-side code, whether code-behind or inline.

FrontPage 2003 can render some ASP.NET Server controls. Others are not
rendered but are displayed very similarly to User controls in a VS.NET
Webform. For those controls that are rendered, you have some ability to
edit them in the user-interface.

Perhaps the most robust is the DataGrid. As far as appearance goes, you
have quite a few options in the user-interface by right-clicking the
DataGrid. If you're used to the wide array of properties available in the
Propertly Builder in VS.NET, you might find the options available in
FrontPage a bit limited, but they're still quite impressive.

If you are an ASP.NET developer, interested in having a look at ASP.NET, or
just want more control over the appearance of your Database Results in
FrontPage, you will definitely be pleased.
