FP2003 Folder List Problem

Guest

I would love to open my Folder List, however When I go to View it does not give me the option to click on the "Folder" I also do not have the option to click on "Toggle Pane". I have several folders in the "My Web Sites" Folder. I also have several pages. Why in the world can I not view the folder list. FP2003 doesn't even give me the option to do so.

Have you opened a web using File > Open site... and then browsed to the web folder and selected it
and then selected Open ??

I do have File/Open Site. I can use that. But, I do not have the option to use any of the "Views" such as Navigation, Folders, etc. I would like to have my Folder List on the left side of my actual page. And for some reason front page will not allow me to do that

I am also having another problem.......When I open FP2003 The task pane that is located on the right side of my window, has an area that says "Open". Then under that it has a link to click that says "My Web Sites" when I click on that it says Server Error: The URL C:\Documents...........My Webs Sites" is not contained with in a SharePoint Services Site.

Until you have created or opened a Site in FP, the Menu options (Folder List and Folders) is not available and the Task Pane doesn't
have any sites to open under Webs

From the Menu select: File and then New
In the Task Pane select More Web Sites Templates
On the General tab Select a Template and under the options select a location
(My Webs is the default, but recommend entering a top level folder such as: C:\MyWeb1)

You are awesome. I assumed that because I already had websites that I had built with FP2003, the folder list would show up. I guess I should have a chat with my computer guy. He did something funky to all of our computers yesterday. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it
