FP2003 cannot publish to IIS 5.1

I am new to IIS and FP, so please help!

My setup:
ServerPC = IIS 5.1 on Win XP Pro SP 2, including FP Extensions 2000 and 2002
CreatePC = FrontPage 2003 on Win XP MCE 2004 SP 2

I used to be able to FP Publish from CreatePC to ServerPC via HTTP using the
ServerPC admin userid and password.

I was having problems with FP shared borders and decided to re-install IIS
5.1 on ServerPC to clean up any lingering old files. Reinstalled FP
Extensions 2000 & 2002.

Since the reinstall of IIS 5.1, FP 2003 refuses to publish from CreatePC.
Keeps giving me the login window repeatedly.

With IE6 on CreatePC, I am able to see the "under construction" page on the
ServerPC. But I cannot open the ServerPC default web site using FP on
CreatePC.

I have double checked all the user permissions on ServerPC, and am in fact
using the admin account and password to publish from FP.

Another clue, although this may be unrelated: For the last week or so, I
cannot access any Microsoft sites on CreatePC. Hotmail login page shows, but
I get a "DNS or server not found" error when I try to sign in. I cannot
visit any Microsoft support or download sites. The only thing new on
CreatePC is an upgrade of Norton Internet Security software, and a new
install of Office 2003 (Word, Outlook, PPT and Excel).

Someone please help! Or please point me to online administrator/user
documentation from Microsoft...

Try disabling your NIS
- or checking it's firewall settings
