FP2000: Having problems saving embedded files - what can I do?? HE

Hello all,

I have been playing around with FP2000 for a while now and quite happily
creating a nice little webpage. However, I am now having problems saving my
embedded photos and I get a dialogue box saying:

"An error occurred accessing your Front Page Web Files. Authors - if
authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this
server's site. Webmasters - please see the server's system log for more
details".

I have been saving my pages in "My Documents" on my PC, and then publishing
the web using the "Publish Web" function. I have not had a problem to date. I
have not changed any aspects of the Web Files folder as far as I am aware. I
am really not sure why the new photos I am trying to insert are not saving
properly. Incidentally, when I close the unpublished webpage and then re-open
it, the photos are on the page, but still have the same dialogue box come up
when trying to save.

I am very confused - can anyone help?? Please speak slowly and in simple
sentences, as I am only a newbie!!)

Thanks muchly

Ellie

Is this happening when you try and save the page or when you try and publish
it? If it's during a publish contact your web host. If it's during a save,
have you tried the usual repairs

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE

You can also get FP Cleaner at http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm
which will do most of this for you.
