I have been inserting background images into pages,
tables and cells. Sometimes it works, sometimes it
doesn't. I first became aware of it when I first
published the web to a site and no one was seeing my
backeground image. Jim Buyens pointed out that:
Your <body> tag contains the following attribute, which
is apparently trying to specify a background picture
background="file:///C:/LivingStructures/BtB%20rnd.jpg"
This will only work if the Web visitor's computer
contains a picture named "BtB rnd.jpg" at the path
C:\LivingStructures\.
To fix this:
1. Open your Web site.
2. Drag the picture file "BtB rnd.jpg" out of
C:\LivingStructures\ and drop it in your /images
folder.
3. Open your page.
4. Right-click the page, choose Page Properties, and
click the Formatting tab.
5. Under Background, click the Browse button and then
select the copy of "BtB rnd.jpg" that's in your
/images folder.
Yet FP2002 continues to insert the full path name into
the html even though the file is in the images folder. If
I go back and and change it (images/BtB rnd.jpg) it takes
it and checking the html it is fine but when I open the
cell or table or page properties dialog boxes it displays
the full path in the background field.
It is driving me nuts: I can't see the bad display
because it exists on my hard drivebut everyone else does
