The mother of all FrontPage problems.

When I access FrontPage 2002 on my PC using Windows 98SE it
no long allows me to load webs or anything else.

Example: In FP it try loading index.htm and the status bar
shows that it is trying to load something other than
index.htm

Then, the program hangs up and a MicroSoft drop down window
appears requesting that I send them an error report.

I tried erasing all the files on the client side of the
domain and then erasing FP followed by a FP reinstall and a
global file transfer from the domain to my FP.

Result: No joy.

What say ye, can anyone help?

Steve!

It acting like the pointers are not being recognized.

Example: I select index.htm and the result is that FP seeks
some other file unsuccessfuly and then drops a MicroSoft
window asking if I would like to send them the error
message. Therefore, I am really not able to access the FP
program beyond its opening page. Consequently, the
directory is paralyzed.

OK.
Do the following with FP shut down.

Do a file search and find and delete all files named
*.web and delete all found.
Then search for *.tmp and delete all found

Reopen FrontPage and try again.

If no good, Close and Restart FrontPage and then go
straight to the Help drop down and select Detect and Repair.
