We just began a site using FP 2003 with a DWT. Given that MS is now
going to abandon the FP product Should we be looking elsewhere to
maintain a web presence?

FP is not being abandoned. It is being renamed.
Support for FP 2003 will continue for a few years.
The new version is called Expression Web Designer.

That would be like selling a Countache because Lamborghini

It doesn't matter, it still goes fast

You would just open the site in Expression, there is not migration or importing required.

Thanks. We were told it was not completely compatible so we would need
to switch. Thanks for letting us know.
