Here is a partial solution..... it addresses the annoying wizard restart
whenever you boot. You'll have to check out your hardware vendors for
details about installing the correct drivers.....
To stop the New Hardware Wizard from appearing each time you start your
system,
1.. Click Next on the Add New Hardware Wizard window and choose to search
for the driver YES (recommended).
2.. A screen with options on where to search for the correct driver for
the MFC will appear. Make sure none of the options are selected.
3.. Click Next.
4.. A message will appear indicating that Windows was unable to find the
drivers.
5.. Click Next.
6.. The final message appears as "Windows will not install a driver".
7.. Click Finish.
