Forwarded attachments not received in Outlook Express

Hello;

In an earlier message I asked about Outlook not sending
attachments with forwarded messages. I think I am looking
at this problem backwards. I have not found out that
messages forwarded with attachments to Outlook Express
clients do not receive the attachments. Messages sent with
attachments to Outlook clients do receive the attachments.

I have changed the setting in Options, Security tab, to
disable the option about dangerous attachments.

Are there any other settings in Outlook Express to stop
the receipt of attachments on forwarded messages?

Sounds like a case of sending Rich Text messages, which Outlook can't
handle.

thanks for the response. The messages are not RTF they are
plain text with attachments.

they are getting converted to RTF. If you use Word as the editor, try the
outlook editor.
