This seems like a simple problem, but I'll be %^%^ if I can figure it
out.
Here's the scenario:
I have a server running on a windows XP box (a game server). The box
has 2 NICs, one with a lan address (192.168.0.xxx), the other outside
the firewall with a wan address (say 23.23.200.200).
I want to be able to connect to the server locally with my lan machines
(the server 'binds' to the local IP address), but let outside users use
the wan address. The game server does not support multiple net
interfaces.
Is there a way to get XP to forward (bi-directional) traffic from the
WAN interface so it appears to be coming from the LAN interface for the
game server? It needs to be tcp & UDP traffic.
Any help will be *most* appreciated.
Thanks
Rob
