For a WebForum I like Snitz 2000. It requires MS Access and an ASP server
though.

With respect to the above it is not plain to me whether I can install/run
the free version totally on my own site/hosting service, or whether the
blogger hosts it in some way.
I think I have read all of the site info but will go ahead and download it
if I can run it totally on my own site.
Any comments?

I'm not an expert, but It seems to have good features, and seems fast.
