Forms Will Not Save

G

Am using Access 2000, w/Office's SP3.

A small db (5 tables) will not allow me to save changes to some of the
forms. I get errors like "form either does not exist or is misspelled".

I can even delete the form, recreate it from scratch and get the same error.

Some forms can be modified and saved.

In my project, the visual basic editor displays a list of forms; three of
them are mine, three of them are like form1 form2... NONE of them can be
edited vb-wise. "cannot view"

There is no security applied.
No changes to startup.
I have run the repair and compact utility.
I have run the JETCOMP.exe utility from Microsoft.
I have created a new blank db and imported my tables, forms, queries, etc.

any help is appreciated.

Your database has corrupted items in it. Make a new, blank database and
import all the objects from the old one (File > Get External Data >
Import). You will get a new, clean copy of your database.
