Forms and SSL

I am having probelms with frontpage forms. My forms work
great, until it is access by SSL. In short, if my form
starts with https, then it says there is a error, if it
starts with http, with out the "s", then it works fine.
I do have a SSL on my server and FP ext. are installed.
What would be keeping the form not to work if it is
secure?

The host has not applied the extensions to the SSL Port 443.
