Lost Forms and Reports Recovery

I have an access database for Asset Tracking It had forms and reports. I have
been using it for the past 5 years. I used it yesterday and to my
astonishment on opening it today I had no forms, reports and macros. Dear
friends Iam seeking guidedance on who I can recover my forms, reports, macros
and the code.

ow.

It seems you don't have a backup?

MAKE ONE NOW, just in case there is something salvagable in this database. You
might (if you've been kind to stray cats, given generously to the needy, and
accumulated some good karma) be lucky.

See the database corruption suggestions at
http://www.granite.ab.ca/access/corruptmdbs.htm
and try the suggestions there. To start with, AFTER YOU HAVE YOUR BACKUP!!!,
try opening the database holding down the Shift key to bypass any startup
macros or forms, and use Tools... Database Utilities... Compact and Repair.

If that doesn't work (I'm not hopeful given the symptom) try creating a new,
empty database and using File... Get External Data... Import to import
everything from your existing database.

If this is Microsoft's Asset Tracking template, and you haven't made any
changes (or remember the changes that you have made), you should be able to
download a new copy of the template and use File... Get External Data...
Import to import all the table data you have entered.
