can someone help? I would like to format my computer. I
have upgraded it to Windows XP professional.

Thank You

Boot from the CD, select option to install, you have the
tools on the CD to partition and format.

Hi Becca

Did it work for you? I also want to format my computer,
but seem to have problems doing it!

Not to be a nitpicker, but you don't format a computer, you format a storage
device such as a floppy drive or a hard drive.

If you format your system hard drive, your operating system along with all
data on that drive (software, word processing files, etc.) will be
destroyed.

Your XP HELP program (START / Help and Support) provides formatting details.

To format your computer (i.e. erase everything) go to the
start menu and selet "run". Then type "cmd". This is
the command prompt. Once in here type "format c:"
Type "y" for "yes" and "enter" for the volume level
question.
