formatting partition (third attempt)

I have recently had a dual boot machine with xp pro on drive C and xp pro x
64 on E. I formatted the C partition and Installed win MCE however, It has
called this installation drive I and moved the xp pro x 64 one to drive C. I
can no longer boot into xp pro x64 as it isn't listed in boot options it is
only listed as an installation when I view my computer from xp MCE. So is it
safe to format that installation? , will it recover the formatted space so
that I only have one OS on my system or do I have to do something else?

If you are not given the option to boot to 64 bit XP then yes, you can go
ahead and format that partition. You will then be able to use the space for
data storage or whatever you like...

Thx Gordon ,
I have done this and now have 100 or so gb of unallocated space, is there a
way that I can bring this space back into the C partition so that my whole
drivespace is under C.
