How the heck do you format the drive? No commands seem
to work. FORMAT command either returns a msg of 'cannot
format NFTS' or 'wrong DOS version' or 'cannot lock
drive....in use'

If you need to reach me, (e-mail address removed)

Thanks...

Attempting to format drive C: is equivalent to sawing
off the branch you're sitting on.

If you want to get rid of Win2000 and all your files,
boot your machine with your Win2000 CD, pretend
to install Win2000, then select "format" when prompted.

The error message "wrong DOS version" is caused by
you trying to use format.exe from some other operating
system, probably Windows 98.

try using fdisk to remove the partition. you'l need a
win98 boot disk (bootdisk.com i think), if you've got the
disk to only disply one drive its easy
