might be better off when using NTFS. Otherwise, you need third-party
tools like "Format.com" since WinXP can *use* larger FAT32 partitions.

with FAT32. It would be helpful if you would...
1. Indicate the capacity of your external hard drive.
2. Can the hard drive be removed from its external enclosure, or is it in a
sealed enclosure?
3. Is you system capable of USB 2.0?
4. Do you use a disk imaging program such as Ghost or Acronis True Image?
