I recently had my motherboard fried and had it replaced.
I had just upgraded prior to that from Windows 98 to
Windows XP Home. For some reason, I can not read any of
my disks in my a drive. But, I was able to back up my
Qwicken to a disk. ???? Anyone have any ideas or
suggestions as to why this is happening? Can it be fixed
so I can read my other disks?

What type of disks are you referring to? 3.5", CD or DVD?

If it is 3.5" disks, I would try them in another computer. If they
work then I would think that your floppy drive got fried also...
