Boot from the XP CD and follow the prompts.

You do it as part of a reinstall of the system after booting the XP CD
direct. Enter Setup, and after the license agreement take New Install.
When it asks you to confirm where, hit ESC; select and delete the
current partition and make a new RAW one to be formatted at the next
stage

But before going so far, I suggest doing a Repair reinstall (alternative
to the New Install) which will rebuild the system while retaining
installed software and data files (though you should still have a
backup, in case).

A reformat will require that you activate again, within the usual 30
days. This will go through on the net provided that either you have not
made so many changes that the formatting puts you over the top (but see
www.aumha.org/win5/a/wpa.htm for a hint), or if it is more than 120 days
since last time.
