Formatting becomeing a problem.

Im useing a template on the XP version of front page
called One-column body with contents and side bar, all i
want is to simply be able to press enter and get onto the
NEXT line of what i want to type, but instead it leaves a
line between every line of text, ive removed the
formatting, checked the paragraphing and it all works out
that it should not leave a blank line between every line
of text, its getting fustrating because its makeing the
page look a bit stupid. any help appreciated
