Formatting a Hard Drive

i need help formatting a hard drive that has a version of
windows xp home already on it. I have two hard drives and
both of them have windows xp home on them. I want to
delete the secound version of home on my slave and just
have a blank drive. Could anybody please give me some
tecnial advise on this situation
 
start computer with the XP on the "C" drive
go to Control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management
right click the disk you wish to format...............click format

Simpler still open Explorer, right click the drive and select Format.
