Formating inserted Object (Excel) in PowerPoint

When I inserted linked object into PowerPoint 2003 from excel file it is
inserted in table. Any way we can get rid of gridlines?

Yes. Make sure the slide that you inserted the excel in, double click on
the spreadsheet. Then go up to tools, options, view tab and look at window
options. Gridlines is probably checked. Just uncheck and they will be
gone.
