There are two reasons this may happen...
1) This is a problem of set-up in Excel.
If you have not told Excel to print the gridlines in the page set-up section
of Excel, than they will not copy over to PowerPoint as a Cut -> Paste
Special. Fix the option and the lines will paste.
2) This is can also be brought on by a problem with scaling. The grid lines
in excel (unless you specify differently) are about a pixel wide. If you
insert a portion of the sheet on a PowerPoint slide and it is even a little
less than the full size, the lines will scale to less than a pixel wide and
may not print.
Post back if neither of these fix your issue.
