formating hard drive

I need to format my hards on my computer but i am having
problems do so for I can not seem to get a disk to do so.
So any help I can get from someone would you my friend
forever.

Boot your machine with your WinXP CD, select "Install"
when prompted, then select "Format" when prompted.
You will, of course, lose everything on your disk.
