Formating, and update browser

Yesterday, and for the past two or three days, again, I
had to re-formate Windows ME--my whole system. For
whatever reasons, I'm always having to reformate ME.
Sooner or later, something goes so wrong with ME that my
computer won't work unless I re-format.

Anyway, reformating starts the browser with IE 5.5, I
think, I go to the MS Downloads and update to
6.0.2800.1106, to be exact. Point is, after reboot, and
going to my Homepage, at Excite, at the bottom left corner
of page, there's ALWAYS the error message--"Done, But with
errors on page." Can anyone tell me why that is and/or
how to repair the erros on the page. This seems to be
happening only on my homepage: i.e www.Excite.com (My
Excite page). If anyone can help, please e-mail your

Can't help you with the Excite.com question, but something
that seems to help my ME is when I have to re-install the
system I unplug everything except the mouse and keyboard -
I learned this from a technician. I haven't had to re-do
my system for about 5 months now.
