Format toolbar

In Word, my formating toolbar only shows, for alignment choices, left and
center. As I recall in a previous I had, I had all 4 choices displayed;
left, right, center and full. I have looked at any 'Help' idea and cannot
seem to locate how to show all 4 rather than just the 2 that are there.
Help/guidance appreciated.

You can put any button you like on a toolbar (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AsgnCmdOrMacroToToolbar.htm), but
before you do that, make sure that you're not just failing to see the
existing buttons. If you have the Standard and Formatting toolbars displayed
on a single row, some of the buttons (the less recently used ones) are
hidden until you click the double right arrows at the end of the part of the
toolbar that is displayed. You can also click the down arrow and choose Show
Buttons on Two Rows; then you'll see them all (assuming you haven't add so
many that the toolbar is still too wide for the screen.

Also, keep in mind that there are keyboard shortcuts for all the paragraph
alignment choices:

Ctrl+L: Left
Ctrl+E: Center
Ctrl+R: Right
Ctrl+J: Justified

Yes,Suzanne; that's it. I feel like a dummie; but on my behalf, must say,
even though being an oldie, that the little arrows provided are extremely
difficult to see ... way out there on the right ... and almost blending in
with the side of the screen. Guess I'll just have to get coke bottle bottom
spectacles.

Yep; that's it Suzanne. I had clicked all over that toolbar area trying to
locate the change options. Guess I am a dummie. But, on my behalf, must
admit that those real little arrows, way out there on the right and right
next to the black edge of the screen, tends to blend in and difficult for
these old eyes of mine. Guess coke bottle lenses might be next. Thanks
