How to creater a "center gutter" (like you see in movie end credit

I have received a word document with text aligned with a "center gutter" or
something --- I don't know what it is called. They are not using a table or
columns to create this. Some lines have it, but others (Like "Starring" in
the example below) do not. It seems to have something to do with the tab
markers, but I cannot recreate the effect. I reads like this:

Director GUY SMILEY
Producer GEORGE LAKOFF
Editor SAM SPADEY

Starring
George Jetston GEORGE CLOONEY
Ringo FIDO

etc, but where the center space between "Director" and "Guy Smiley" runs
down the center of the page and is aligned. When I add text to "Director" it
expands out to the left. When I add text to "Guy Smiley" it expands out to
the right, keeping the "center gutter" or whatever it is called, lined up in
the center. It seems to have something to do with tab markers on the top
ruler, but no matter what I do I cannot recreate the effect. Help! Thank you

You would need a paragraph style with two tabs - a right aligned tab and a
left aligned tab. Tab to the first right aligned tab and type the title, tab
to the second tab and type the name
You might find it easier to use a borderless table with three columns. The
left column right aligned for the names, the centre column providing the
space and the right column left aligned for the titles.
