I am trying to format my drive. The restore CDs do not work that came with
the VPR Matrix. It hangs.
If I force it into a format I suspect the restore cd will work.
Windows XP restore never worked and after 6 years I think it is time to get
the redirectors off and allow windowsxp to replace a firewall that will not
uninstall.

Youre problem(s) deal with the mfgs xp cd,not a microsoft product..If you had
a retail copy of xp,from microsoft you would'nt have those problems...

You say you want to format the drive, the restore CD will not work but that
if you force a format, the restore CD will work. I don't find a
question--what advice are you seeking?

A full restoration normally wipes out the current partition, and makes a new
one and formats that partiton. There's no need to format anything, shades
of windows 9X/ME install setup.

CDOs are how we got here.
A modified version, new taxes in the future, is how Congress will get us
out?

How do I get a legitimately bought product to function?

Everywhere I have gone so far is a criminal syndicate.

What you are saying is mfgs xps are or should be illegal?

$150 a year on a computer is a rippoff.

Linux would be the way to go. If I have to rack my brain to get a computer
to work then that would be the best deal.

Grind your axe elsewhere, please (preferably an ALT newsgroup), Hick.

Seems you should have taken this up with the manufacturer 5 or 6 years
ago. Try contacting them re assistance with the product they provided.
